My secondary work covers a wide range from Yr 7 - Yr 11, my expertise is in my communication with school age children, with realistic aims and expectations.
My GCSE choreography is well structured and technical but at the same time allowing the students the freedom to alter the content to suit their strengths.
My composition workshops introduce very clear starting points with structured routes for development.
My Boy's Sessions introduce movement to the uninitiated in an unthreatening manner, my appearance doesn't usually fit their preconceived ideas of a dancer.
A residency can be teaching classes, include inset, include a performance or whatever suites your needs or school.

Feedback

"Very good teaching takes place when the teacher has good subject knowledge, as is seen in the teaching of dance at both key stages,
together with clear learning objectives and high expectations of the pupils,
who are challenged both physically and intellectually at a brisk pace.
Such teaching results in pupils responding well to the teacher, the momentum of the lesson being maintained, and pupils making a well-focussed physical and creative effort."
